Panasonic X500
Replicating a real camera, it is possible to capture images with the X500 by turning the phone horizontally. The X500 has a built-in CMOS VGA camera for high quality images and its photo light function allows consumers to take pictures even when the surrounding light conditions are less favourable. The handset features a 65,536-colour TFT screen displaying sharp and brilliant images and has two types of menu screen - a scroll launcher and a 9 launcher.
Additionally, the X500 allows consumers to shoot 10 second motion pegs. Multimedia Messaging (MMS) enables users to send photos as well as text, and with its Java MID2.0 functionality games can easily be downloaded. Further features include WAP2.0, SMS, 10 pre-installed 40-polyphonic ring tones and 2 pre-installed games.
At 85x47x22.5mm (hxwxd), the handset is compact - and still offers up to 7 hours talk time, up to 200 hours standby time and stores an impressive 300 contacts in the phonebook in addition to its SIM storage capacity.
